ST. CLOUD, MN — The Rox Community Foundation recently hosted its sixth annual Sporting Clays Shootout Fundraiser, presented by WELLS. The event sold out once again, with 30 teams participating and raising $54,445 to support kids and youth programs throughout Central Minnesota.
One hundred percent of the event’s proceeds benefit the Rox Community Foundation and the Kimball High School Trap Team. The event was held Thursday, Sept. 17, at Rice Creek Hunting Club in Little Falls.
“A big thank you goes to WELLS for its fantastic corporate partnership with the Sporting Clays Shootout and for the tremendous support from our many corporate partners, teams and volunteers who helped make this event such a success,” said Rachel Thiesse, Chief Administrator for the Rox Community Foundation. “A special thank you goes to Greg Roth from WELLS and Rob Kuechle from A.M. Maus & Son for their continued commitment and support of the event.”

The Rox Community Foundation will host its seventh annual Sporting Clays Shootout Fundraiser, presented by WELLS, on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2027, at Rice Creek Hunting Club.
The Sporting Clays Shootout is an annual fundraising event that features teams of four competing across a 17-station trap-shooting course. The event also includes lunch, dinner, silent and live auctions, and more.
About the Rox Community Foundation
The Rox Community Foundation is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization administered by the St. Cloud Rox Baseball Club. The Foundation was launched in March 2019 with a mission to provide grants, donations and scholarships in support of youth-related programs and initiatives throughout Central Minnesota.
Each year, the Foundation raises funds through corporate partnerships, private donations, Rox game-night fundraisers and special events. One hundred percent of the funds raised are donated back to the community. The Foundation does not take any administrative fees; all administrative costs are covered by the St. Cloud Rox Baseball Club and supported by volunteers. The Rox Community Foundations’ founding partners are Wells, NAPA Central, CLA & Blattner.
