Virtual Teachers Of The Month Award
During the 2020 year where student learning was impacted by school closures due to the pandemic virus, the Rox Community Foundation came through and paid tribute to our
area educators.
The Foundation created a special online promotion where students from grades K-12 all throughout Central Minnesota could nominate a teacher that made an impact through fun
and unique virtual teaching lessons during the closing months of the 2019-20 school year.
There were five (5) teachers chosen to each receive a $500 Visa Gift Card to use for classroom supplies and a special plaque that read:
Teacher Opens A Mind...
Touches A Heart...
And Shapes The Future For Their Students!
The Rox Community Foundation saluted the teachers at a Rox baseball game on August 12, 2020.
